I wanted to congratulate the golf course on having a good tournament today. I do hope we see more days like today and getting the course closer to break even! Congratulations again to the people putting on the tournament today.
What a beautiful day to have a golf tourney and "WHAT A TURN OUT" there were 22 team in this tournament and there were teams from all over. We had teams from Boone, Des Moines, Fonda, Fort Dodge that was just to name a few of the people that I got to speak with. There were approximately 35 people at the club house for lunch and that is not including all the golfers that were there for the tourney that was just the club house. I volunteered my services today and I felt great being a part of this as well as seeing all these people and I can only imagine how great the "GOLF COURSE" did today. I was told from several people that we had an awesome golf course and that the tourney was running very smooth and I so wanted to tell them all the horrible things that are being said and the negativity that we have going on right now but I am a better person than that and just politly said "Well ~ Thank You and I hope you enjoyed yourself and that you do come back!" they said they certainly would. I was very excited to see the people and how things went off with a bang...... "GOOD JOB" LETS KEEP IT GOING!
Congratulations on having a good day. Robyn it is wonderful that you gave of your time today. I also volunteer to something that is very close to my heart and this makes me feel better. I have done this for years.
The weather was great, the tournament went very well, alot of people had a great time! The course looked awesome, nice and green, the fairways were beautiful. I hope you people get out there and enjoy the beautiful deck, and enjoy the scenery!
For me not being a golfer at all I just wanted to go out and really see what it was all about. It was a great feeling to see such a wonderful turn out and see hands on how things work. I was very impressed with the way Cindy McCall made the club house run so smooth and how awesome the course looked Devin Gallentine did an awesome job making the course look so good. I would like to give Cindy and Devin "A PAT ON THE BACK" two of the hardest workers out there. You guys did a great job. Keep up the great work.
oopps I didnt get to say thank you for one of the mosts important things that makes the tourn. go so well ~~~ A BIG THANK YOU AND GOOD JOB TO Paula and John for handling all the teams signing up and getting them in and out of the club house so quickly. There was no one waiting for anything. Everything went off with a bang.... GOOD JOB PAULA AND JOHN. I hope that the golf tourney scheduled JUNE 20TH in MEMORY OF CHASE DODSON we have this kind of turn out and that things go as smooth...
Congratulations D.O. for being such an open minded person. I know you have been attacked on other parts of this blog during some rants and raves and this shows what an honorable person you are. Thank You
Today I was driving home from work and just kept counting the golf carts leaving Dayton it was awesome. I was on my way straight to the golf course to watch my nephew in the Boy's High School meet. When I got there I spoke with one of the gentlemen leaving and he told me that they had 66 Seniors playing and that the course looked the best he had seen it in years and that they appreciated and enjoyed the meal that they received that was included in their entry fee. I would like to applaud Cindy for her wonderful job well done once again :) LETS ROCK AND ROLL...... :)
Congratulations on two good golf days in a row. Let's keep the streak going! I didn't make either because I was setting up for this stupid garage sale, but I did take a "tour" Saturday and agree the course looks awesome. kendra
Congratulations: It sounds like everything is right on track and nothing has been held back in your timeline. So you should be able to complete your needed tasks on a timely basis. I was worried for a while because two council members were being blamed for holding things up. Sounds like that can't be a reason any more. Congratulations again.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the staff at the golf course, the Parks and Rec board, and all the patrons who showed up to golf!!!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the first test of the season proved the right people are working and helping in the right places.
