There was a recent comment on the new sales tax to take effect in Webster County last week. Here is the article about the new tax in The Fort Dodge Messenger:
I was told to vote yes for the sales tax increase because then our property taxes would not go up as much. The way I see it, it's a no win situation because our property taxes are going up anyway and how much more will they go up.
